Here is some useful information to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

When you arrive at the Airport:

Important Notes
You are required to provide information to the Immigration Department about where you will be staying here on Aruba and how many days you are staying on the island. You also have to fill out a form before getting to Immigration with this information. If you do not fill out this form, you will not be allowed into the country.

Buses
There is cheap and consistent daily bus service between all the districts and the hotel areas. The main bus station is located in downtown Oranjestad near the Royal Plaza Mall. From here, you can travel to anywhere along the hotel strip. Usually the locals of Aruba take the Arubus busses to go from one point to another here on the island; however, tourists are making their way through Aruba by choosing an economical and well-organized type of transportation.

Line Services
The largest bus operator is Arubus, a Government company that owns 29 buses, presently operating six (6) lines. The most important line is the route from San Nicolas to downtown Oranjestad and this line even continues up to the hotel zone in Palm Beach. This line has a share of some 80% in the total passenger transport of Arubus. For a complete schedule of Arubus’ Lines, Times, and Destinations click on the below HTML links.
